



A Dharma teacher who has been a student and practitioner of Tibetan Buddhism since 1970, Charles Genoud was, for several years, translator for the Venerable Geshe Rabten, later becoming a student of H. H. Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche. Charles is a respected authority on Buddhist sacred art who has led numerous pilgrimages to the monasteries of Tibet and Ladakh and has conducted meditation retreats in India, Burma, Israel, France, Switzerland, Britain, and the USA. He has also taught Gesture of Awareness workshops at the prestigious Espace Acteur in Paris. Drawing on his knowledge of Tibetan culture, he has written numerous books, the most important being Buddhist Wall-Painting of Ladakh (1982) and La non-histoire d?une illusion (1994).
